Welcome to Ummul Khair Model Schools

Established in September 2009, Ummul Khair Model Schools in Alagado, Lagos, is a faith-driven institution committed to raising godly, disciplined, and academically excellent students. Our school provides a peaceful and distraction-free environment that supports both Islamic moral teachings and modern academic excellence.

Academic Levels overview

Montessori Nursery & Primary School

We adopt the Montessori system, focusing on the cognitive, psychomotor, and affective development of young learners, nurturing them from cradle to early primary education.

Junior Secondary School (JSS)

A 3-year foundation program with a broad curriculum including English, Mathematics, Science, Business Studies, Creative Arts, and Islamic Religious Studies. Students conclude this phase with the BECE exam.

Senior Secondary School (SSS)

Designed to prepare students for WAEC, NECO, and UTME with two specialization streams: Math/Science & Technology Business Studies & Humanities Each student takes between 9 to 12 subjects, guided toward academic excellence and professional readiness.

Welcome to Ummul Khair Model Schools, a faith-based learning community committed to academic excellence and moral upbringing. Since 2009, we’ve provided a serene, well-equipped environment in Ilapo Estate, Alagado, Lagos, where students grow intellectually and spiritually. Guided by the motto “Allah is Our Guide,” we blend the Nigerian curriculum with elements from British and Saudi systems, offering Montessori education at the early levels and structured secondary programs in Science, Technology, Business, and Humanities.
